Gordon McLeod
President, The Wall Street Journal Digital Network

Gordon McLeod is president of The Wall Street Journal Digital Network, which includes the flagship WSJ.com plus MarketWatch.com, Barrons.com, AllThingsD.com and all digital out-of-home, mobile, podcast/audio and video consumer products for Dow Jones.

Previously, Mr. McLeod spent six years at Time Inc. creating and running digital media businesses. He launched Parenting.com and ParentingTV in 2000 before becoming president of Sports Illustrated’s web sites, including SI.com and SI Pictures, in 2003. He became general manager of Time Inc. Interactive in 2006 where he had oversight of the Web sites for more than 80 magazines.

From 1997-2000, Mr. McLeod served as senior vice president/executive producer for Grey Entertainment where he launched gTV, an in-house production company. At the CBS Television Network, he was creative director/executive producer for CBS News from 1993-1996. His entrepreneurial experience began in 1989 when he co-founded Grisanti-McLeod Inc., a strategic and creative agency that served entertainment and political clients.

Mr. McLeod has a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard University and a bachelor’s degree in political economy from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a member of Google's Publisher Advisory Council and currently serves on the boards of the Online Publishers Association (OPA) and The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB).
