To determine whether the ILX Classic terminal is already set-up for ILXplorer, look for ILXplorer in two places:

• in the right-hand "pull down menu" as one of the choices
• or in existing "toolbar" at the top of the screen

To set up the ILXplorer window
1. Choose Setup from the Window menu or press .
2. Click the arrow next to the function key you wish to assign to ILXplorer.
3. Select ILXplorer (use the scroll bar to view all of the features).
4. Choose Save Setup or press .

NOTE: After completing steps 1-4, access the right pull down menu on the ILX "main page" and click on ILXplorer. This step will open the ILXplorer window-be sure to resize/expand this window for maximum visual effect. Resizing this window determines the size of the Dow Jones NewsPlus window when displayed.

To add Dow Jones NewsPlus as an icon to the MAIN screen toolbar, follow these steps:
1. Refer to the top toolbar and click on FILE. Click on NEW PAGE-"ADD NEW PAGE" box will appear automatically. To "title" the NewsPlus icon, type in DJNEW (you are limited to 5 characters) in the box.
2. If you haven't already done so, be sure to resize/expand this window for maximum visual effect. Resizing this window determines the size of the Dow Jones NewsPlus window when displayed. Hit "Save."

To access DJ NewsPlus once ILXplorer is installed
1. Open ILXplorer.
2. Under News, click DJ NewsPlus.

NOTE: Dow Jones NewsPlus must be activated each morning (or after restarting the ILX program). To begin the session, click on the ILXplorer icon, which will open the ILXplorer window, from the menu, look for "NEWS" and click on "Dow Jones NewsPlus." This daily step activates the DJ NewsPlus window for the daily session

To set DJ NewsPlus as your ILXplorer home page
1. After accessing DJ NewsPlus, click the home page update button (gray house), in the tool bar.
2. Click Yes to confirm the selection.
